Who we are
ActInside is a Belgian software company. Our product reads a company’s own business data, flags what needs attention, and explains why.
What the bot does
ActInsideBot reads a company’s own public website. It does this once, when that company signs up as our customer and asks us to, so that our product understands what kind of business they are.
What it does not do
It does not collect personal data. Nothing it reads is used to train AI models. And it does not crawl repeatedly: it reads roughly 25 pages at about one request per second, and then it stops.
How to block it
Add these two lines to your robots.txt:
User-agent: ActInsideBotDisallow: /
We honour that. There is one exception: a website that one of our customers has entered as their own. We read that site on the owner’s instruction.
